Boudaoui Extends Contract with Nice Until 2026, Club Views Him as Future Core
Updated:2025-10-19 08:33 Views:143NICE, France (AP) - Strasbourg striker Boudaoui has signed a new contract to stay at the club until 2026, the French Ligue 1 team announced on Friday.
The deal means that the Algeria international will remain with Nice for another four years and will be part of their plans for the future.
"His performance this season has been exceptional," said Nice president Jean-Michel Aulas in a statement. "We're delighted to have him for many more seasons."
Boudaoui made his debut for Nice in 2019 and has since become one of the club's most important players. He scored 17 goals last season and is expected to continue to play a key role for the team in the coming years.
The contract extension also gives Boudaoui the opportunity to compete for a place in Algeria's national team, which he hopes to do after the World Cup next year.
"It's a big step forward for me personally and for the club," he said. "I'm very happy to sign this contract and I'm looking forward to continuing my career here at Nice."
Nice are currently in second place in the Ligue 1 table and will be hoping to make it into the playoffs when the league resumes later this month.
